Basically, we design, build and operate as well as hire out highly sophisticated survey and recreational vessels.

When you hire one of our vessels you do not just get a boat, you get a purpose-built survey/ recreational vessel fitted with a full range of electronics (GPS, Echo sounders etc.), hydraulics, power supplies and computers. You also get a 4x4 vehicle fully equipped with an electronic winch and secure canopy (Nissan Patrol).  We can deliver and self-launch our vessels using this single vehicle.  Our smaller vessels are fully towable and on custom designed trailers.

Since 2003 KwaZulu Boat Hire has evolved with the inshore and coastal survey / recreational market and produced a series of innovations in survey boat and design. By constantly upgrading to meet the ever changing market we can always offer new and cutting-edge solutions.

To keep everything running safely and efficiently we only provide highly capable, qualified crew with numerous years' experience on the water in small boats. We have designed, engineered and manufactured most of our equipment so we can ensure it to always be in perfect running order.
